Marton Varga is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Marketing of Bocconi University. His current research focus is modeling online product search and purchase in the presence of user-generated content. He also studies how fMRI studies enhance forecasts on new products sales, and how COVID-19 lock-downs and product recalls affect automobile prices. He earned his PhD from Insead (2021), and his master's degrees from Nova School of Business and Economics (2012) and Corvinus University of Budapest (2010). His work has appeared in Health Economics and in Portuguese Economic Journal. He is the recipient of the 2021 Robert D. Buzzell MSI Best Paper Award.
